Hello, Ranunculus!
The birds are chirping, the days are getting a tad bit longer, and it’s almost time to enjoy Ranunculus that don’t have to come to us from half-way around the world! Meanwhile, while we ‘re brainstorming for our upcoming Spring and early Summer wedding bouquets, we’ll feast our eyes on Ranunculus Past.
Local Hellebore and Lilacs seem to be one of the most natural fits for Ranunculus arrangements….
It’s hard to decide which color Ranunculus is our favorite, but white always makes the heart skip a beat!
The fresh Green of Queen’s Anne Lace mixed with rich chocolate Corydalis foliage makes a wonderful Spring wedding bouquet……..
And the bridesmaids need their Ranunculus too!……..
On the subject of Ranunculus that don’t have to travel half-way around the world (although our September brides are very happy that they agree to make the trip), a few of our local growers in Washington and Oregon are hard at work on ways to make the Spring crop come just a bit earlier. We’ll talk more about that project very soon!
