Blush Summer Flower Subscription Program – It’s Time!

Just because you’re too afraid to take out the lawn furniture yet doesn’t mean you can’t have a little bit of summer on the dining room table (the inside one, of course).  The Blush Summer Flower Subscription Program begins July 7th and we have lots of fun in store for you this year!

The Blush Summer 2011 Flower Subscription Program!

For all of you last-minute shoppers out there still scrambling for that perfect (and yes, easy) gift idea, we’ve posted all of the details for our Summer 2011 Flower Subscription Program. It might be gloomy out now, but we’re already gearing up for Dahlia season……or at least hoping for it!

What’s Local Right Now, and What’s Not!

Well, we had planned on featuring local Peonies in our first Summer Flower Subscription delivery, but Mother Nature didn’t quite cooperate. Thanks to our less-than-ideal weather we got to mix some California Garden Roses in with the Nigella, Raspberry Vine, Sweet Peas and Baptisia…..which certainly didn’t ruin our day. Nevertheless, for those of you keeping up on the availability of seasonal Skagit Valley flowers, we always like to disclose any non-locals sneaking into our “What’s Local Right Now” features. The white rose you see here is Fair Bianca, which we love for white or cream bridal bouquets. It’s beautifully scented with that perfect saucer-shape and natural growing pattern. The pink rose is Yves Piaget, also beautifully scented and a wonderful complement to the fresh summer greens! Our next delivery is July 9th, so fingers are crossed for sunshine!

Beautiful Locally Grown Flowers – Blush Summer Flower Subscription

We’re hoping this beautiful image taken last summer by David Perry for A Fresh Bouquet might bring back the sunshine and let us get on with all we have to do this season!

We’re so pleased to announce our Summer Flower Subscription Program starting on June 25th! Get your hands on beautifully fresh blooms provided by our local Skagit Valley cut flower growers this season without leaving your lounge chair….that’s right, we’ll be dropping them on your doorstep every other Friday! Sorry, we don’t barbecue or wash windows but we can at least help make sure you have something pretty on the table.

You’ll be dazzled with treasures like Peonies, Sweet Peas, Dahlias, Roses, Garden Phlox, Sedum, Hydrangeas, Lilies, Celosia, fruiting branches, grasses and herbs. The list goes on forever, but that would spoil the surprise. For the full story, click here.
